Session 1

In session one, you will learn about the role of health behavior theories in behavioral change. This session also covers the Transtheoretical Model aka Stages of Change.

Session 2

The second half of day one covers the Health Belief Model. This model addresses the source and role of beliefs about health behaviors and outcomes–and how to change them.

Session 3

On day two, the workshop begins with the Theory of Reasoned Action/Theory of Planned Behavior. This theory's constructs are powerful tools for assessing the efficacy of your work.

Session 4

In session 4, you will master the Social Cognitive Theory and how role models and both inter-personal and intra-personal environments determine health outcomes.
